UP NEXT FOR FINEST:
C.I.E. DUBLIN
The flight from JFK headed for Shannon Airport holding the Galway Gardai is barely out of sight, but the NYPD Gaelic Football Club is turning its attention to its next match against C.I.E. Dublin.
The match is the final leg of a triple header taking place at Gaelic Park on Sunday October 19th. The NYPD v CIE throw in is set for 5pm, immediately following the FBD Connacht League final tilt between New York and Galway.
The match will be played for the honor of raising the Moira Smith Perpetual Cup. Police Officer Moira Smith, while assigned to the 13 Precinct, was killed at the World Trade Center on 9/11/01. Moira's father came from Larkfield Gardens in Dublin.
