Buy Tickets to the FD Match Here! This year, the NYPD Gaelic Football Club will be playing the F.D.N.Y. Charity Match for one of our own long time club members Sgt. Justin McComack. Justin suffered a massive stroke last December and our 2011 Club Man of the Year is in great need of your support. Please buy your tickets to this game early, as all proceeds from our ticket sales go directly to Justin. Don't just stop at one, buy as many tickets you possibly can for our great friend! The tickets will be held at the Gaelic Park Box Office with the buyer's name on them. All tickets purchased online will be $11 as Paypal takes a percentage out of every sale. You can also purchase tickets from any of our club members around the city. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $15, with half of those proceeds going to the Charity of the FDNY. We'll post the FD's Charity as soon as we get that info. IAB # 02-2012 2011 Dinner Dance Awardees Honored Retired Deputy Inspector Paul McCormack was named the 2011 Guest of Honor at our recent Dinner Dance held on December 3rd. Paul began his career with the NYPD in 1990 and rose the ranks until his retirement in 2010. Paul also helped reorganize the club picking up where it left off in the 1970s. In 2000 he took over as the club president and held the reigns until 2009. Today, he's still a big part of the club while enjoying retirement and spending time with his family. The Club also honored Consul General of Ireland Noel Kilkenny with our Heritage Award, Club Man of the Year Justin McCormack, and Player of the Year Vincient Manion. Congratulations to Paul, Noel, Justin, and Vinny! Thank You for helping us Keep the Heritage Alive! |
